They might party hard in public, but they know their priorities when it comes to family. Who are we talking about? Star daughters, of course. Actresses like Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan proved that nothing comes before family when they rushed to be by their parent's side at the time of an emergency.

Now, Bollywood’s latest sensation Asin has done likewise. Asin’s father, Joseph Thottumkal, known as JT to insiders, was recently admitted into the hospital with an acute case of appendicitis. The actress immediately cancelled all her film and other commitments to her father’s chagrin, who is a stickler for keeping professional commitments. But Asin reportedly got into a heated argument with her father to drive home the point that nothing is more important than him. As for the commitments she couldn’t cancel, she jets between the hospital and dubbing or shooting spots constantly. Joseph is awaiting surgery at a hospital at Andheri.

Another star child – Fardeen Khan in this matter- also proved his devotion to his father Feroz Khan who was admitted into Breach Candy Hospital two months back. Sources say that the senior Khan wanted to take a break from his chemo treatments and go to Bangalore for some much needed peace. Against all odds, Fardeen managed to secure permission from the doctors and is doing all that he can to make the travel comfortable for his dad. Goes to show that stars are humans too.
